VON TOBEL HISTORY
Von Tobel Corporation was founded in 1965 when Paul Von Tobel purchased the former Indiana Construction Company property in downtown Valparaiso.
The company originally occupied half an acre, but now covers 15 acres in Valparaiso.
Von Tobel Lumber & Hardware opened in Lafayette, Indiana in 1981.
Von Tobel Lumber & Home Center opened in Michigan City in 1987.
Von Tobel Lumber & Supply opened in Schererville in 1995.
The Von Tobel Corporation completed its conversion to a 100% employee owned company in December of 2002.
